Find the Sentence: A Deep Funding Community Engagement Initiative
The Challenge is a weekly community engagement initiative held every Friday at 1:00 PM UTC in the Deep Funding Telegram group. Designed to be both educational and rewarding, this activity encourages participants to explore the Deep Funding website, become more familiar with its structure and content, and stay actively involved in the community. With opportunities to win cash prizes, this challenge offers a fun and meaningful way to connect, learn, and contribute.
2. How the Challenge Works
A. Challenge Schedule
- The challenge will take place every Friday at 1:00 PM UTC, starting from April 18, 2025
B. The Challenge Begins!
- A sentence from the Deep Funding website will be posted in the Telegram group with multiple missing words.
- Example:
“Deep Funding ________ are designed ________ the development of ________ AI projects.”
- Participants must search the Deep Funding website to find the correct sentence and missing words.
C. How to Participate
Step 1: Search the Deep Funding website for the full sentence.
Step 2: Take a screenshot of the sentence (with the missing word included).
Step 3: Submit the screenshot in the Telegram group
3. Prizes & Winner Selection
There are two ways to win in this challenge:
First Place $10
- The first person to correctly find the sentence, take a screenshot, and submit it wins the main prize.
Second Place $5
- After the first-place winner is confirmed, a second challenge is opened:
- You will have one hour to submit your summary
- The most accurate and best summary of the webpage where the sentence was found while respecting all challenge rules wins this prize.
- The summary of the webpage in 75 words
4. Clue System (If No One Finds the Answer Quickly)
To keep participation active, hints will be released in stages:
- After 10 minutes: The first clue reveals which general website section the sentence is in (Dashboard, Programs, Updates, or SingularityNET).
- After another 10 minutes, the second clue narrows it down further to the specific webpage (Funding Rounds, RFPs, Projects, etc.).
- More hints will be given until a winner is found.
5. Challenge Rules
- One Prize Only: You can’t win both the main and summary prize in the same round.
- No Three-Time Streaks: If you win two rounds in a row, you must skip the third.
- No AI-Generated Summaries: AI-generated summaries are not allowed. Rephrasing with AI is okay only if you share a screenshot.
- 75-Word Minimum: Your summary must be at least 75 words to qualify.
Rule Update (Round 2)
Main Challenge: Contextual Blanks Instead of a Single Missing Word
- Instead of a single missing word, we will provide a rephrased version of the sentence for context.
- The original sentence will be posted with multiple blanks (every 1–2 words missing).
- Participants must read and navigate the Deep Funding website to identify the full sentence.
Example:
- Rephrased Hint (for context):
This AI framework aims to achieve general intelligence by integrating various AI systems with a unique data structure.
- Challenge Sentence (with blanks):
OpenCog _______ is an _______ cognitive _______ aimed at _______ Beneficial _______ Intelligence (BGI) by _______ various AI _______ with a _______ metagraph _______ as Atomspace.
- The original sentence from week 4
Opencog Hyperon is an advanced cognitive framework aimed at achieving Beneficial General Intelligence (BGI) by integrating various AI algorithms with a distributed metagraph known as Atomspace.”
Bonus Round: Shifting from Speed-Based to Quality-Based Evaluation
- The “first to submit” rule has been removed—submission order does not matter, as long as the summary is submitted within the 1-hour time limit.
- The submission hour begins at the start of the bonus challenge, marking the end of the main challenge.
- The best summary will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Follow all challenge rules.
- Clearly understands the source page and explains it well.
- Written in the participant’s own words (AI rephrasing allowed with proof).
- Minimum 75 words, grammatically sound, and informative.
What This Means for You
These new rules start in Round 2, so prepare accordingly.
