Deep Funding Community: July in Review.

In this edition of Deep Dive, you will find a roundup of some of the latest developments in the SingularityNET ecosystem: from the recent AGI-24 workshop, with updates on OpenCog Hyperon, to our newly redesigned Request For Proposals (RFP) process, which will better meet the needs of our growing ecosystem.

AGI-24: A Leap Towards AGI

Just in case you missed it, the SingularityNET ecosystem hosted the AGI-24 workshop on August 13. It was a full day dedicated to exploring the latest advancements in OpenCog Hyperon, our framework for achieving human-level and beyond AGI!

The workshop reviewed the foundation for performing cognitive computations in Hyperon, the MeTTa language, and discussed some real-world applications of Hyperon, including projects like PRIMUS, Neoterics, Mind Children, and more.

It’s always great to see academia coming together to solve tomorrow’s problems, and you’re more than welcome to participate in Deep Funding in this journey.

RFPs For Hyperon

Speaking of Hyperon, we’re excited to announce our new decoupled process for Request For Proposals (RFPs) on Deep Funding with the release of the first five Hyperon RFPs.

The new RFP process enables SingularityNET and partners to outsource important work to the community. RFPs can be very detailed and specific and will drive clear value to the AI platform and/or Hyperon.

Each RFP will have its own lifecycle, which means that there will be ongoing activity in Deep Funding all year round! In the next stage, we will introduce ‘Community-driven RFPs’ that will allow the community to participate in the end-to-end process, starting with ideation and leading up to published ‘Community RFPs.’

Education: Understanding The SingularityNet Marketplace.

You may have heard about the SingularityNET Marketplace, but how does it connect to Deep Funding and our community?

The SingularityNET Marketplace is a decentralized platform where AI services are bought, sold, and developed. Basically, it’s a digital platform that allows developers to deploy AI services, and users to access and make use of these services in a decentralized process.

Deep Funding plays a crucial role in this process by providing the resources and support needed for our community to develop new AI services and improve existing ones.

Through our funding initiatives, we enable projects across the world to work on AI services and succeed on the SingularityNET Marketplace, benefitting the entire ecosystem.
