The Dev Outreach circle is dedicated to fostering developer engagement and ensuring a thriving ecosystem of AI-driven projects on the SingularityNET Marketplace. As we move forward into Deep Funding Round 5, we recognize the need for greater developer participation and awareness, and this new Circle will serve as a critical catalyst for that growth.
Interesting to note that this was the first Circle created entirely by the community, without direct involvement from the Deep Funding staff! A huge shout-out to the community members who made this happen: Ubio, Ron, Riad, Ishaan, Andrea, Judith, Soubir, and Gavriel! This achievement exemplifies the power of collaboration and initiative within our ecosystem.

Key Initiative: The "Risk awareness" Hackathon
From August 18th to 24th, 2024, the circle hosted the very first DF Hackathon! A thrilling week-long hackathon that brought together 7 talented teams of 2 to 4 members to compete for a $10,000 prize pool. The event was a testament to the power of community-driven innovation and collaboration.

The Challenge:
Participants were tasked with leveraging the potential of probabilistic forecasting to create innovative solutions, featuring Photrek's Risk Assessment Service as the foundation for their projects. They were encouraged to utilize the powerful tools and insights provided by Photrek to build cutting-edge applications.

The Winners:
The competition was fierce, and the judges were impressed by the creativity and technical prowess displayed by all teams. Ultimately, three winning teams were selected, each receiving a portion of the $10,000 prize. In addition, one team was recognized for developing the Best App, further highlighting the exceptional talent and dedication of our participants.

The Impact:
This hackathon was a significant milestone for the Deep Funding initiative. It showcased the immense potential of the community to drive innovation and develop groundbreaking solutions. By fostering collaboration and providing a platform for talented individuals to come together, we aim to continue fueling the growth of the AI and machine learning ecosystem.
